Lexington Park resident Nicole Anne Kelly, 36, was arrested by sheriff's deputies earlier this month on an outstanding warrant, after which she was transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center, a spokesperson for the sheriff’s office said on Wednesday, June 29.

While she was being processed on the warrant, a female correctional officer at the detention center located a bag of pills that were hidden inside of Kelly’s bra, according to the sheriff.

Inside the illegal package, investigators said officers seized alleged Percocet, Zolpidem Tartrate (a class of drugs called sedative-hypnotics), and fentanyl.

Kelly was charged with controlled dangerous substances: possession of not marijuana, and possession of a controlled dangerous substance while confined or inside a Maryland detention center.
